1. Conformation of your participation will be sent within few days from receiving your registration. If you do not receive confirmation, please email lilburnparade@gmail.com for further information.
2. Several days prior to the parade…This will be sent to you by a member of the Christmas Parade Committee.
3. Parade participants… EXCEPT BAND MEMBERS… walking in the parade should arrive NO Later than 9:00a.m. Parents are asked to drop off their children at the Salem Baptist Church (Killian Hill Rd. & Church St.) Enter from Killian Hill Rd. Click on MAP. If you are unable to access this map please Download this PDF file of the Line-up and Parade route. Participants should proceed to the registration table located near the drop off to check in and receive lineup information. Floats participating in the parade please enter from Hwy 29 and Main Street. Band members will assemble at Lilburn First Baptist (Church St & Main St) Please check in with the registration desk located in your respective area.
4. Parade will begin at 10am and will end approximately 11:15am.
5. Participants … You will recieve detailed instructions of staging areas closer to the date of the parade.
6. Parade line-up … EXCEPT BAND MEMBERS… will be along Church street starting at Salem Baptist Church.
Band members will assemble at Lilburn First Baptist Church (Church St & Main St).
Parade will end at Lilburn City Hall… approximately one and 1/4 mile.
7. Participants can be picked up after the parade in the parking lot of Lilburn City Hall, or at the Park
Pavilion Circle, Railroad Ave and Lula St. Volunteers will be there to assist with the pick-up
process.
8. Parking will be available at Killian Hill Shopping Center located at Indian Trail/Killian Hill and Hwy 29, behind the Chik-fil-A. Very early arrivals can find a limited number of parking spaces available across the street from Lilburn City Hall in the Camp Creek Trail Parking lot. Note* parking is limited in the area. You may not park on the street in a manner that hinders the smooth flow of traffic. Please be courteous, and do not block driveways.
9. Yes. Street closures are as follows:
Terry Street will be closed to inbound traffic (from Young Street) from 8am till the parade leaves the area and has made its way to Main Street.
Pine Street will be closed from 8am till parade leaves the area and has made its way to Main Street.
Young Street will be closed to inbound traffic (from Main Street) from 8am till parade leaves the area and has made its way to Main Street. Only out bound traffic will be allowed.
Church Street will remain open till 10am at which time Church Street west will close and remain closed till parade is over. Church Street east will remain open from Main Street to Killian Hill Road.
Main Street at Church will be closed from 10am till parade is over.
Camp Creek at Joy will be closed from 10am till parade is over.
